Physical Testing

Lacrosse is a physically demanding sport.  It requires complete athletes who are willing to push themselves to another level in all areas. Along with the athletic demands, lacrosse also requires discipline and hard work with developing and maintaining stick skills in the offseason through the regular season. Below you will see the physical goals that we are striving towards.

Testing

Start of Fall Ball

Tryouts 11/7,9 | End of Fall Ball

Beginning of the Spring

Testing Structure

Break up into 3 teams

Conditioning

  • 1 mile 8 minutes

Strength

  • Benchmark pushups 35 in a row
  • Benchmark 10 pull-ups in a row
  • Benchmark plank 2 minutes straight through

Point System

Don’t hit benchmark -5

Hit the benchmark +0

Over the benchmark +1 per rep

Under the run benchmark +1 per minute

Team with the most points gets lunch on us

Losing teams have to run the mile again
